The given expression is :

8=(-3)/(4)p

Simplify the expression :

\begin{gathered} 8=(-3)/(4)p \\ (8)/(1)=(-3)/(4)p \end{gathered}

Apply the cross multiplication :

\begin{gathered} (8)/(1)=(-3p)/(4) \\ 8*4=1*(-3p) \\ 32=-3p \end{gathered}

Divide both side by ( -3 )

\begin{gathered} 32=-3p \\ -3p=32 \\ (-3p)/(-3)=(32)/(-3) \\ p=-(32)/(3) \end{gathered}

p = -32/3

Answer :

p=-(32)/(3)
