From the problem, we have :

-5(1)/(5)+3.7+5(1)/(10)

We have two mixed fractions and 1 decimal number.

Convert the fractions into decimals.

For -5 1/5

1/5 is equivalent to 0.2

So this will become -5.2

For 5 1/10

1/10 is equivalent to 0.10

So this will become 5.1

Rewriting the terms :

\begin{gathered} -5(1)/(5)+3.7+5(1)/(10) \\ \Rightarrow-5.2+3.7+5.1 \end{gathered}

We can now add and subtract the decimals.

\begin{gathered} -5.2+(3.7+5.1)_{} \\ \Rightarrow-5.2+(8.8) \\ \Rightarrow3.6 \end{gathered}

The answer is 3.6
