From the qeustion, we are given the following parameters

Length of the triangle = 1/2 yard

Width of the triangle = 11/4 yards

Since we are not told what to look for, we can as well look for the area and perimeter of the rectangle.

Area of a rectangle = Length * breadth

Area = 1/2 * 11/4

Area of the triangle = 11/8 yd^2

For the perimeter:

perimeter of a rectangle = 2(L+W)

perimeter of the rectangle = 2(1/2+11/4)

perimeter of the rectangle = 2(2+11)/4))

perimeter of the rectangle= 2(13/4

perimeter of the rectangle = 26/4

perimeter of the rectangle = 13/2 yards
