Find F(x)=x^2-13 and G(x) =16 -x find (F+G)(x)

Step 1

Write out these functions


\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^2\text{ - 13} \\ g(x)\text{ = 16 - x} \\ \\ \end{gathered}

Step 2

To find (f + g)(x), you add the two functions together.

Therefore, f(x) + g(x)


\begin{gathered} =x^2\text{ - 13 + 16 - x} \\ =x^2\text{ - x + 3} \end{gathered}
