Count the number of grids to the right from the origin of the coordinate grid to find the x coordinate of a point and count the number of grids in the upward direction to find the y coordinate of a point.

From the graph, the coordinate of the first point is,

(x,y)=(1(1)/(2),\text{ 8}(1)/(2))

The coordinates of the second point is,

(x,y)=(2(1)/(2),6)

The coordinates of the third point is,

(x,y)=(4,7(1)/(2))

The coordinates of the fourth point is,

(x,y)=(5(1)/(2),1)

So, the x values and the corresponding y values in table D and the x and y coordinates of the points are the same.

Therefore, the table of coordinates in table D is used by Ashlyn to plot the points.
