Given the expression:

first we do the operation inside the parenthesis to get the following:

$\begin{gathered} (4.5+7.6)-8+2.5=12.1-8+2.5 \\ \end{gathered}$

Now we can add and substract the resulting expression:

therefore, the result is 6.6
