Given the functions:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=5x+2 \\ g(x)=-2x^2-3 \end{gathered}

• You need to find:

f(-7)

Then, you have to substitute this value of "x" into the function "f" and then evaluate:

x=-7

Then, you get:

f(-7)=5(-7)+2=-35+2=-33

• Now you need to find:

g(6)

Substitute this value of "x" into the function "g" and then evaluate:

x=6

You get:

g(6)=-2(6)^2-3=-2(36)-3=-72-3=-75

Hence, the answer is:

\begin{gathered} f(-7)=-33 \\ g(6)=-75 \end{gathered}
