What is the vertical intercept of 3x+5y=-5?

__________________________________________

This is a linear equation

y= mx + b

The y-intercept is (0, b)

3x+5y=-5

y= (-3/5)x -1

when x is equal to zero

y= (-3/5)* 0 -1

So then,

x=0; y= -1

The y-intercept is (0, -1)
