A student graphed f(x) = x and g(x) = -5f(x) + 2 on the same coordinate grid. Which statement describes one relationship for how the graphs of f(x) and g(x) are related?

f(x) = x and g(x) = -5f(x) + 2

The changes from f (x) to g (x)

1. from positive to negative slope,

2. it goes from slope 1 to negative 5

3. y-axis intercept change

from (0,0) to (0, 2)

g(x) = -5f(x) + 2

0 = 5f(x) + 2

2 ÷ 5 = x

x-axis intercept for g(x)

(0.4 , 0 )
