Firstly, let us draw the situation:

For us to find out how far it travels, we can write the equation for displacement on the x axis. Note, however, that the velocity we'll use is the x velocity only. This gives us:


S_x=v_xt\Rightarrow S_x=32.9*cos(23.7°)*6.1=183.76m

Then, the distance it traveled in x is x=183.76m
