To find the graph of a line we need two points on the plane.
I f we have the equation of the line:
![y=(2)/(9)x+3](https://img.qammunity.org/2023/formulas/mathematics/college/yk0nx6d413kl0xv8ll8iebt6qe4ufhmgij.png)
we need to give values to x (whichever values we like), and then find the value of y; this will give us one point.
Let x=0, then:
![y=(2)/(9)(0)+3=0+3=3](https://img.qammunity.org/2023/formulas/mathematics/college/mbszsg6d0e3pmitbs7hu45kpdvf4a9tjsu.png)
Then we have the point (0,3).
Now we need another point, let x=9. Then:
![y=(2)/(9)(9)+3=2+3=5](https://img.qammunity.org/2023/formulas/mathematics/college/kjyiqfv722dwfkey5fqr1p8v2rkrbeoncr.png)
Then we have the point (9,5).
Once we have two points we plot them on the plane:
Now that we plot the two points we joined them with a straight line to get the graph of the line:
