Hannah started with $500. After she bought the camera she had $500 - $435 = $65.

If 1 item cost $9, then 4 items cost 4x$9 = $36. Therefore, after Hannah spent $36 in the four items she has $65 - $36 = $29. This amount of money is not enough to buy the speakers.
