Usually when pH it's calculated we work with logarithms, the main formula for that is:

pH = -log [H3O+], this symbol [] means concentration of H3O+ or Hydronium cation.

Therefore whenever the number of pH is 2.00, we have the concentration of 1*10^-2 H3O+ and if the pH is 3.00, the concentration will be 1*10^-3, which is 10 times less.

So, the answer for this question is if the pH went from 3.00 to 2.00, we have an increase by a factor of 10, becoming more acidic. Letter C
