From A to B on the map = 6 inches

From B to C = 12 miles

the scale on the map is 1 in : 4 miles

The actual distance from A to B = 6 * 4 = 24 miles

The first statement : The actual distance from A to B is 24 mi True

A The distance from B to C on the map = 12/4 = 3 inches

The second statement is False

The actual distance from A to C = 24 + 12 = 36 miles

the third statement is False
