\mleft(x+7\mright)\mleft(x-4\mright)=xx+x\mleft(-4\mright)+7x+7\mleft(-4\mright)=xx-4x+7x-7\cdot\: 4

simplifying


x^2+3x-28

therefore the value of Q is 3
