We are given a symmetric dot plot. The mean in a symmetric dot plot is the value in the middle of the dot plot, therefore:

Mean=4

The median in a symmetrical distribution is the same as the mean:

median\text{ = 4}

if the analysis is done using the data and not the graph we would use the relationship:

median=(4+4)/(2)=(8)/(2)=4

The mode is the value that is repeated the most. From the graph we notice that the value that is most repeated is:

mode=4

In a symmetrical distribution the mean is always equal to the median and the mode.
