We have the following:

x+1>-5\cdot(7-2x)

solving for x:

\begin{gathered} x+1>-5\cdot(7-2x) \\ x+1-1>-35+10x-1 \\ x>10x-36 \\ x-10x>10x-10x-36 \\ -9x>-36 \\ 9x<36 \\ x<(36)/(9) \\ x<4 \end{gathered}

The answer is:

\begin{gathered} x<4 \\ (-\infty,4) \end{gathered}
