Problem

I need help finding out the point-slope form for (-6,3); m=3

Solution

For this case we want to write the following formula:

y=mx+b

And for this case we know that m=3 and we can use x= -6 and y=3, replacing into the equation we got:

3= 3(-6)+b

And solving for b we got:

b= 3+18=21

And our equation would be given by:

y= 3x+21
