Given:

\begin{gathered} h(x)=2x-4 \\ g(x)=x^3-3 \end{gathered}

Value of (h+g)(4) is:

\begin{gathered} h(x)=2x-4 \\ g(x)=x^3-3 \\ (h+g)(x)=2x-4+x^3-3 \\ (h+g)(x)=x^3+2x-7 \end{gathered}

At x=4 value is:

\begin{gathered} (h+g)(x)=x^3+2x-7 \\ x=4 \\ (h+g)(4)=(4)^3+(2*4)-7 \\ (h+g)(4)=64+8-7 \\ (h+g)(4)=65 \end{gathered}
