The x-intercept of a function are the points where the graph of that function intersects the x-axis. Looking at the picture you can see that the graph intersects the x-axis at two points. These points are marked in red in the following picture:

Then, the x-intercepts of the function are the points:


(-2,0)\text{ and }(2,0)
