Solution:

To get the slope of a line from a given graph, the coordinates of any two clear points are chosen.

From the graph given, pick the points (4,0) and (8,8).

\begin{gathered} \text{where;} \\ x_1=4 \\ y_1=0 \\ x_2=8 \\ y_2=8 \end{gathered}

The formula for calculating the slope of a line, m is given by;

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Substituting the coordinates into the formula,

\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ m=(8-0)/(8-4) \\ m=(8)/(4) \\ m=2 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the slope of the line is 2.
