Pythagorean Theorem is given by:

c² = a² + b²

Where:

a = 6

b = 8

\begin{gathered} c\text{ = }\sqrt[]{6^2+8^2} \\ c\text{ =}\sqrt[]{36+64} \\ c=\sqrt[]{100} \\ c=\text{ 10} \end{gathered}

Therefore the length of the hypotenuse is 10cm
