\begin{gathered} x-5y=-15 \\ x=-5\text{ (Given)} \end{gathered}

Substitute x = -5 into the equation

x - 5y = -15

-5 - 5y = -15

-5y = -15+ 5

-5y = -10

y = -10/-5

y = 2
