The shape is a cuboid made up of cubes

The volume of a cuboid = Length x width x height

Each cube is 1cm in length, 1cm in height and 1cm in width

So for the entire shape the

Length = 8cm

width = 6cm

height =3cm

The volume therefore =

$8\operatorname{cm}*6\operatorname{cm}*3\operatorname{cm}=144cm^3$
