The probability is 0.083

Here, we want to calculate the probability of selecting a cone with a strawberry topping

From the question, there are a possible 4 toppings type

Now, out of the three cone types, we are to select one

Also, out of the 4 toppings, we are to select the strawberry specifically

Thus, we have the probability as follows;


\frac{^4C_1\text{ }*^3C_1}{3!\text{ }*\text{ 4!}}=\text{ }(4*3)/(144)\text{ = }(12)/(144)\text{ = }(1)/(12)\text{ = 0.083}

The factorial part below represents the total number of possible selections that we can have
