See explanation below

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + y = 4

to graph the equation, let's first make y the subject of formula:

we subtarct 2x from both sides

2x - 2x + y = 4 - 2x

y = 4 - 2x

Now we assign values to x in order to get y:

using x = -1, 0, 1, 2

when x = -1

y = 4 - 2(-1)

y = 4 + 2 = 6

when x = 0

y = 4 - 2(0)

y = 4 - 0 = 4

when x = 1

y = 4 - 2(1)

y = 4 - 2 = 2

when x = 2

y= 4 - 2(2)

y = 4 - 4 = 0

We can now plot the graph using the value we obtained:

The points (x, y) will be: (-1, 6), (0, 4), (1, 2), (2, 0)

We can make a graph that the x axis: one square represent 1 unit

y axis: 1 suare (box) represent 1 unit

We can number on the x axis from -2 to 4. And on the y axis -2 to 8

Then we trace the points of x and y for each points we obtained.

After wards draw the graph
