The given triangle is a right angle traingle. Taking angle 24 degrees as the reference angle,

hypotenuse = 10

Opposite side = 4

Adjacent side = x

If we apply the tangent trigonometric ratio which is expressed as

Tan# = opposite side/adjacent side

where # is the reference angle, then

Tan 24 = 4/x

If we apply the cosine trigonometric ratio which is expressed as

Cos# = adjacent side/hypotenuse

where # is the reference angle, then

Cos 24 = x/10

If we apply the Sine trigonometric ratio which is expressed as

Sin# = opposite side/hypotenuse

where # is the reference angle, then

Sin 24 = 4/10

Looking at the given options, the correct option is D
