The general rule in inequalities is that when we multiply or divide by a negative number the inequality is reversed.

So in the cases of a and d, since we multiply by a negative number, the inequality will reverse.

And in case b, we have a negative number but it is added (not division or multiplication) thus, in this case the inequality will preserve the symbol.

In case c, we divide by a positive number, thus, the inequality will preserve its symbol
