Determine the surface area of box.

\begin{gathered} SA=2((3)/(2)\cdot(4)/(3)+(3)/(2)\cdot2+(4)/(3)\cdot2) \\ =2(2+3+(8)/(3)) \\ =2((23)/(3)) \\ =(46)/(3) \end{gathered}

So wrapping paper required for one box is 46/3 square feet.

Determine the wraping paper for 3 boxes.

(46)/(3)\cdot3=46

So 46 square feet of wrapping paper is required for 3 boxes.

Draw a net to represent one box.
