Solution

For this case we have the following sequence of numbers:

64,48 , 36, 27, ....

We can find the common difference on this way:

We can assume that we have a geometric sequence and we have this:

48=64(r)
r=(48)/(64)=(3)/(4)

Then we can write the general expression:

a_n=64((3)/(4))^(n-1)

For n = 1 we have a1 = 64

for n = 2 we have a2= 48

for n = 3 we have a3 = 36

for n = 4 we have a4= 27

For n = 5:

a_5=64((3)/(4))^4=20.25

For n =6:

a_6=64((3)/(4))^5=15.1875

then the next two terms are:

20.25 and 15.1875
