Given for question 2:

a=-7,r=-4

The general form of the geometric sequence is:

a_n=a_1\cdot r^(n-1)

substitute with the given values of a and r:

a_n=(-7)\cdot(-4)^(n-1)

To find the fourth term, substitute with n = 4

so, the fourth term will be:

\begin{gathered} a_4=(-7)\cdot(-4)^(4-1) \\ a_4=(-7)\cdot(-4)^3 \\ a_4=-7\cdot(-64) \\ a_4=448 \end{gathered}

so, the answer will be the fourth term = 448
