To find the solutions of this equation we can divide all the expression by 3:

\begin{gathered} 3x^2+6x-24=0 \\ x^2+2x-8=0 \end{gathered}

Now, factor the expression:

(x+4)(x-2)=0

Make each factor equal to 0 and find x:

\begin{gathered} x+4=0 \\ x=-4 \\ x-2=0 \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

It means that the solutions are -4 and 2. The correct answer is the last choice.
