Given:

g(x) is the transformation of the function f(x) = x²

As shown in the graph, the red function represents the function f(x)

We will find g(x) as follows:

1) reflect f(x) over the x-axis:


x^2\rightarrow-x^2

2) shift 9 units up

so, the answer will be the function g(x) will be:


g(x)=-x^2+9
