Given:

Total students = 24

Bottles required for each student = 4

Part A:

1 student needs 4 bottles of water.

24 students will need


\begin{gathered} =24*4 \\ =96\text{ } \end{gathered}

Hence, 96 bottles are required.

Part B:

Since there are 12 bottles in one package

Therefore, 96 bottles will make


\begin{gathered} =(96)/(12) \\ =8 \end{gathered}

So, the packages required will be 8.
