Statement Problem: Use synthetic and long division method to solve;

(4x^4-15x^3-28x^2+6x+3)/(x+4)

Solution:

By Synthetic division method;

Use the root associated with the divisor as;

\begin{gathered} x+4=0 \\ x=-4 \end{gathered}

Hence, the solution is;

4x^3-31x^2+96x-378+(1515)/(x+4)

By Long division method;

Hence, the solution is;

4x^3-31x^2+96x-378+(1515)/(x+4)
