In order to evaluate the expression 2x²+6x for x = - 2, we just have to replace -2 for x into the given formula and solve, like this:

2x²+6x

By replacing -2 for x, we get:

2(-2)²+6(-2) = 2(4) + (-12) = 8 - 12 = -4

Then, when we evaluate 2x²+6x for x = - 2 we get -4
