The regular polygon will be in the form below:

USing the formula


\text{Area}=(1)/(2)\text{nsr}

n is the number of sides=7, s is the length of sides and r is the apothem

The length of each of the sides of the heptagon is


(63)/(7)=9\text{inches}

Now we have all the parameters to solve for the area


\begin{gathered} \text{Area}=(1)/(2)*7*9*8 \\ =252in^2 \end{gathered}
