A number set represent a right triangle if it satisfies pythagorean theorem:

\begin{gathered} c^2=a^2+b^2 \\ c>a \\ c>b \end{gathered}

Let's check the sets:

1) (6,8,10)

\begin{gathered} 10^2=6^2+8^2 \\ 100=36+64 \\ 100=100 \\ True \end{gathered}

2) (8,15,17)

\begin{gathered} 17^2=8^2+15^2 \\ 289=64+225 \\ 289=289 \\ True \end{gathered}

3) (8,24,25)

\begin{gathered} 25^2=8^2+24^2 \\ 625=64+576 \\ 625=640 \\ False \end{gathered}

The set # 3 doesn't satisfy the pythagorean theorem. Hence, it doesn't represent a right triangle.

Answer:

3) (8,24,25)
