It takes 2.10s for a small ball with a mass of 0.050kg released from rest from a tall building to reach the ground. Calculate the height from which the ball is released assuming the air resistance is negligible

time = t = 2.10s

mass = m = 0.050kg

a = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s^2

Vo = initial velocity = 0 m/s ( rest)

h= height

Apply the formula:

h = vot + 1/2 a t^2

Replace with the values given:

h = 1/2 (9.8m/s^2) (2.10s)^2

h= 21.609 m
