Concept/formula

Exact volume = volume of a cuboid +voplume of a square base pyramid

Next, find the volume of cuboid

The volume of cuboid = L x W x H

L = 8 m

W = 8 m

H = 5 m

The volume = 8 x 8 x 5

= 320 meters cube

Volume of square pyramid

=\text{ }(1)/(3)\text{ x base area x height}
\begin{gathered} \text{Base area of a square = L}^2 \\ L\text{ = 8 m} \\ \text{Base area = 8}^2 \\ \text{ = 64} \\ \text{Height = 6m} \end{gathered}

\begin{gathered} \text{Therefore.} \\ \text{Volume = }(1)/(3)\text{ }*\text{ 64 }*\text{ 6} \\ =\text{ }(384)/(3) \\ =\text{ }128m^3 \end{gathered}

Final answer

Exact volume = 320 + 128

= 448 meters cube
