Classify the system and identify the number of solutions.

X - 3y - 8z = -10 ------> equation A

2x + 5y + 6z = 13 -----> equation B

3x + 2y – 2z = 3 -----> equation C

we have that

If you multiply by 2 equation A, the result is not equation B

If you multiply by 3 equation A, the result is not equation C

therefore

the answer is option A

consistent, independent; one

Problem N 2

we have the inequalities

x\ge0

the solution to this inequality is the shaded area at the right of x=0

y\ge0

the solution for this inequality is the shaded area above the solid line y=0

x+y\leq4

the solution for this inequality is the shaded area below the solid line x+y=4

4x+12y\leq24

the solution is the shaded area below the solid line 4x+12y=24

therefore

To find out the total solution, using a graphing tool

see the attached figure

the solution is the quadrilateral area with vertices (0,0) (0,2) (3,1) and (4,0)

compare with the options

we have that

option A is not correct

option B is not correct

option C is not correct

option D is correct
