first we need to find the slope of the line

m=(-2-5)/(10--4)=(-7)/(14)=-(1)/(2)

so the equation of the line is:

\begin{gathered} y-5=-(1)/(2)(x+4)=-(1)/(2)x-2 \\ y=-(1)/(2)x+3 \end{gathered}

so the y intercept is (0,3) and the x intercept is (6,0)
