-x < 3

To solve we must divide both sides by -1 to find the solution

In inequality when we divide both side or multiply both sides by a negative number we must reverse the sign of inequality, why that

2 > 1

If we multiply both sides by -1, it will be

-2> -1, which is wrong so we must reverse the sign of inequality to be

-2 < -1

So when we multiply the inequality above by -1, we must reverse the sign of inequality
