b = 2a - 45

The summ of the three angles of a triangle sum 180, so 90 + a + b = 180

If we use the first equation on the second:

90 + a + (2a - 45) = 180

90 + a + 2a - 45 = 180

45 + 3a = 180

3a = 180 - 45 = 135

a = 135/3 = 45

Using this value of a in the first equation:

b = 2(45) - 45 = 90 - 45 = 45

b = 45

Answer: The measure of both angles is 45 degrees.
