Given:

Fixed pay = $25 a day

$2 for each toque he sells

• a)

$25 a day never changes, he is paid $25 a day no matter how many toques he sells.

• b)

Y = 25 + 2x

Where:

y = Jerry's daily salary

x = number of toques sold

• c)

x = 17

y= 25 + 2 (17)

y= 25 + 34

y= 59

Answers:

a) $25 per day

b) y=25+2x

c) $59
