The general form of the line is :

y=m\cdot x+b

Where: m is the slope and b is the y - intercept

Given the equation :

y=-(1)/(4)x+7

So, the slope will be :

m=-(1)/(4)

And :

b=7

y - intercept is the value of y when x = 0

so,

the point which represents y - intercept is :

(0,7)
