EXPLANATION

The probability that all households have a TV = 90% = 0.90

P(T) = 0.9

Probability of all households have a TV and VCR = 54% = 0.54

P(T ∩ V) = 0.54

The conditional probability is as follows:

P(V|T)=(P\mleft(T\cap V\mright))/(P\mleft(T\mright))=(0.54)/(0.9)=0.6

0.6 is the probability that a household has a VCR given they have a TV.
