The surface area of a cylinder is given as:

A=2\pi r^2+2\pi rh

where r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder.

Plugging the values we have:

\begin{gathered} A=2\pi(14)^2+2\pi(14)(18) \\ A=392\pi+504\pi \\ A=896\pi \\ A\approx2815 \end{gathered}

Therefore the surface area of the cylinder is 2815 squared feet.
