By definition, a square is a Quadrilateral. All its sides have equal length. Then, the perimeter of a square can be calculated with the following formula:

P=4s

Where "s" is length of any side of the square.

In this case you know that "s" is:

s=17ft

Then, you can substitute this value into the formula and then evaluate, in order to find the perimeter of this square. Therefore, you get:

\begin{gathered} P=(4)(17ft) \\ P=68ft \end{gathered}

The answer is:

P=68ft
