y < 2x + 5

y > -x

Using point (2, 2):

2 < 2(2) + 5 = 4 + 5 = 9 ==> true

2 > -2 ==> true

so this poit represents a solution

Using point (-3,1)

1 < 2(-3) + 5 = -6 + 5 = -1 ==> false

so this poit DOES NOT represents a solution

Using point (0,2)

2 < 2(0) + 5 = 5 ==> true

2 > -0 = 0 ==> true

so this poit represents a solution

Using Point (0,7)

7 < 2(0) + 5 = 5 ==> false

so this poit DOES NOT represents a solution
